My name is Ginger. Welcome to my website. I've been showing and training llamas for ten years. I own one llama "Spiker" and co-own another "Bronze Rose." I started training llamas in 1990, as a Senior Girl Scout interest project. My first llama that I worked with was "Sidesaddle Kitty." She went on to be 'Saline Community Fair's 1991 Grand Champion Female.'

The first llama that I worked with in 4-H was Dexter. I basically used him as a learning tool and placing no high than 2nd places (but that was by default, there were only two in the class). In 1992, the owner of the farm (where the 4-H club was based) was impressed with the way I handled his llamas, and told a friend. She was equally impressed and asked if I could work with a couple of her llamas. One llama needed some genteling, the other, Spiker, would be mine to use for 4-H. From them on it is history, I was hooked!
